Prereq: MATH 2210, MATH 2250, PHYS 2220, PHYS 2225 with C. Introduction to Modern Physics with a focus on relativity, quantum mechanics, and atomic physics. Applications in solid-state physics, bonding in molecules and solids, and nucleur physics. Use of computers in problem solving.
