CTE Program

The Physical Therapist Assistant program at Salt Lake Community College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association, 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314; telephone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org; website: www.apta.org/CAPTE. 

The program consists of 3.5 semesters of theory, laboratory and clinical courses.  The curriculum is offered during the day only.  Upon graduation, graduates are eligible to practice as a physical therapist assistant in physical therapy clinics in the State of Utah.

Our Graduates Graduates of the program are highly sought after due to the strong instructional design of the curriculum. Our Faculty The full time faculty have many years of clinical and teaching experiences.  Both faculty have been recognized by the college and received teaching excellence awards.
