Students must demonstrate basic academic skills levels as defined for the program. Often these skill levels are demonstrated by taking the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) or for the Jordan Campus program the CPT ACCUPLACER. ESL tests are proctored to assess the baseline understanding of the English language in order to register for SAT ESL courses. The CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System) and CELSA (Combined English Learning Student Assessment) are the two tests that determine initial registration placement. Skills level requirements vary by program (see an enrollment advisor for details).
All tests are provided as stated on the basic skills page excluding holidays, College closure, and training days.
