Degrees and Certificate Programs
If you are interested in completing the first half of a bachelor’s degree at SLCC, be sure to pick a program that offers an AA or AS degree.
- Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees are transferable to 4-year universities or colleges within the Utah System of Higher Education.
- The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree prepares students to enter a career immediately after graduation. These degrees are NOT intended to transfer to a bachelor program.
- Earn certificates to quickly enhance your resume. Certificates are an immediate way to build your skills set when looking for an internal promotion, have been given new responsibilities at work or are shifting careers.
- Certificates of Completion (CC) are a one-year program. You can stack them into an AAS degree.
- Certificates of Proficiency (CP) are an approximately one semester program focused on specific skills.
