Application Process

Start early.

Some positions are filled at the end of the year for jobs starting in the summer of the next year.


To be considered you must have a:

  • Competitive GPA
  • Application Form
  • Letter of Interest
  • Resume
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • 2-3 page writing sample that demonstrates your ability to think and write clearly

You must interview to be accepted into the SLCC Internship Program.

Interested students should spend time researching the type of agency, organization or business they would like to work for in an internship. 

Available Internships

Applications for Summer 2014 Internships are due February 15. All applications submitted on or before February 15 for Summer semester will be accepted as priority.
