SLCC's Clubs & Organizations exist to unite students of similar interests together and provide them with opportunities to become effective leaders. These groups enhance the quality of student life by fostering social interactions, leadership development and a connection to the College by promoting clubs, diversity, service and learning outside the classroom.

There are over 60 clubs and organizations at SLCC. There is a club for just about everyone, and if you don't see one you like or are interested in, you can always start your own. Make your college experience more enriched - get involved, join a club.

The purpose of AISL is to share and cultivate appreciation of all Native American and Alaskan Natives and to provide support for a successful academic and educational experience by affording social and cultural activities through leadership and community service.

Artist with Ethnicity

Share and exchange our nationalities’ history, perceptions, and creativity through a variety of approaches such as the visual, conceptual, performing, and literacy arts. Bruin Robotics Club

Our main focus is using the Arduino microcontroller in combination with various sensors and output devices to create autonomous or semi-autonomous robots. There is quite a bit of hands-on mechanical design for platforms and other things, as well as the software/electronic design for controlling the robots.

Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance (FMLA)

Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance strives to promote equality for women. We also want to highlight injustices facing women locally in Utah and on a global scale, and start a dialogue on how we can affect change. We are interested in breaking the negative connotation surrounding the word "feminism" and hoping to provide a platform for empowerment for everyone.

Open Source

Open Source is a club for programmers or aspiring programmers. Here we collaborate on fun, extracurricular programming projects to gain the skills we will need in the software development industry, all in a friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere. We do skills demonstrations, where we can learn from other peoples' specialties, as well as participate in school events such as the Business and Computer Science departments' JAM session. Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of Two-Year Colleges. We encourage the pursuit of academic excellence among SLCC students. To become a member of Phi Theta Kappa you must have completed at least 12 credit hours of course work toward an associate degree with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.

This production club brings students of many different majors together to create content for SLCC radio and televisions around campus. Club members’ could produce a radio drama, television shows, or videos. We plan on assisting with other CAM productions such as the fashion show, dance concert, or other SLCC sponsored shows.

Society of Hispanic Engineers (SHE)

The purpose of this student club "SHE" is to recruit, promote and help advice a diverse group of STEM students that are willing to improve in their STEM network and help the diverse group succeed in the Engineering field by opening opportunities, with the SHPE chapter. We will be hosting events and give presentations to local schools to increase the importance, value, awareness of what STEM can do. We will give students advice on interviews, internships, hands on opportunities and the importance of taking a chance, because it all starts with taking a chance.

In conjunction with Planned Parenthood, Students for Choice at Salt Lake Community College is club dedicated to informing and empowering students about reproductive health, rights, and justice among their community and local government. Ultimate Motion Dance Club

Our goal is to bring the hip hop dance culture to Salt Lake Community College. We plan to do this by having workshops, dances, showcases, and people express themselves through dance. Students do not have to have previous dance experience to join.
