Diversity and Inclusion Series: Diversity, Inclusivity and Cross Cultural Sensitivity. This series will focus on helping individuals to appreciate diversity, gain self –awareness and knowledge of one’s own culture, their views about varying cultures within their community and its uniqueness. They will learn to recognize Microaggression, cultural sensitive and to learn competencies that will enable them to build an inclusive community.

Children’s Holiday Extravaganza
Student Center, Taylorsville Redwood Campus
Come and enjoy some holiday themed family fun. Students, staff, faculty, and the community are all welcome. Join us in celebrating the different holidays held in the winter months. Various booths will celebrate such holidays as Christmas, Kwanza, Diwalii, Hanukkah and others by providing crafts, food, and candy. Santa will be making a special appearance to take pictures with the kids. All of the events are FREE. The only cost is the breakfast, which is optional. Tickets for the breakfast are $4 and are available for purchase at the Info Desks at the Taylorsville Redwood, Jordan, or South City campus.

Christmas with Eclipse
Grand Theatre, South City Campus
Its that time of year again for the annual Christmas with Eclipse Concert. SLCC students, staff, and faculty can pick up vouchers to redeem for FREE tickets at any Student Life & Leadership Office (Taylorsville Redwood STC 124, Jordan SP 202, and South City 2-070). You can then redeem the vouchers for up to 4 FREE tickets. We have tickets to all three nights, but they won’t last long so get yours soon. Vouchers will be available in mid-November.
