Electronics Technology programs prepare individuals for entry levels positions as Technicians in a variety of industry careers. Skills are learned through a balance of theory and hands-on applications to support industry requirements for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronics circuits and systems. Each program is specific to an industry career pathway and provides training and skills specific to that occupation. Industry sectors include Automation & Instrumentation, Electronics Maintenance & Repair, Manufacturing and Robotics.

Concepts covered may include, soldering, component identification, inspection, PLCs, motor control systems, electronics/electrical fundamentals, troubleshooting, instrumentation and fluid systems.
