Addressing the changing face of journalism, Mara Liasson, national political correspondent for NPR, heard on “All Things Considered” and “Morning Edition,” and a contributor at Fox News Channel, will investigate how people currently consume news, the concept of freedom of the press and the recent successes and failures of media.

The Tanner Forum, supported in part by the O.C. Tanner Company, enhances Salt Lake Community College’s mission as a community-based learning institution by providing opportunities for students, staff, faculty and the broader community to gather for thoughtful examination of critical issues in contemporary social ethics. The event is free and open to the public.
