Taking Accuplacer at Another Institution

You must take the Accuplacer test in a controlled, proctored setting, which includes:

  • Colleges and college testing centers
  • High school counseling centers
  • Public libraries
  • Military education centers

The test may not be administered by family, friends or neighbors. You must make arrangements with the cooperating institution to administer the test, and you are responsible to pay any fees.

Accuplacer Distance Form

Once you've found an institution where you can take the test, complete and return the Accuplacer Distance Form. Email the completed form to testingservices@slcc.edu or fax it to 801-957-4750. It must be received at least four business days before your scheduled test date.

Once we receive the form, SLCC Testing Services will email test administration information to the contact person listed on the form two days prior to your scheduled test date.

Please allow two business days for completed test scores to be entered into the SLCC system. The test scores will not be posted until the completed proctor agreement is received from the institution.
