Basic Needs Resources
The purpose of this program is to support students that may not have equitable access to basic needs such as but not limited to nutritious food, stable housing and access to adequate technology. When basic needs are not consistently met, a student’s ability to concentrate on school may become less of a priority. Basic Needs insecurity can affect class attendance, grades, social interactions, the ability to continue with or finish a degree, as well as other health and wellness impacts. We strive to connect students with campus and community resources that address the challenges they might be facing.

Basic Needs Tech Access Program
Through the generous support of businesses across the valley, SLCC receives computer donations intended for our students. If you are in need on a computer to help you with school, please complete the form below. Donations are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
Once you have completed the form, our Basic Needs Coordinator will reach out to arrange and date and time to meet.
Bruin Support Hub
For a list of SLCC Basic Needs resources, check out the Bruin Support Hub facilitated by the Dean of Students office.
Graduation Cap and Gown Program
Through some generous funding with the office of the VP for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, we are piloting a new program designed to provide a cap and gown to graduating students who would otherwise not attend/walk at Commencement! Please note this program is first come, first serve as we recognize we might not be able to help each student who needs this support. Please complete the following form and we will be in contact with you.
