About the Student Senate

The SLCCSA student senate has a student senator who represents students within the 6 pathways: Arts, Communication & New Media, Humanities & Social Science, Health Sciences, Mathematics & Engineering, Business, and Applied Technology & Technical Specialties by gaining input, raising awareness, and initiating action on student concerns. 

Purpose of the Student Senate

Be the most effective Student Senate in Utah by dedicating ourselves to:

1. Actively seek out student issues and concerns
2. Effectively research issues and thoughtfully consider all possible solutions to problems
3. Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve the student's academic experience
