Auditions for THE ARK

About the Show:
A refreshing new musical by local favorite, Michael McLean about a very human family story featuring hilarious, as well as poignant moments about husbands, wives, fathers and sons!
Audition Information:
Roles are available for 4 men and 4 women ages 18-50 and all roles are open.
Actors should be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a musical theatre selection. An accompanist will be provided and those auditioning should be prepared with a head shot and resume.
All roles are single cast.

October 15-18th & 20-25th 2008, at 7:30 pm
Matinee on October 18th & 25th at 2:00 pm

Frequently asked Questions:
How long is the rehearsal process? Typically, rehearsals last about six weeks prior to opening. Due to the complexity of everyone's schedules, rehearsals are reserved for evenings Monday through Friday's and Saturdays, during the day. Generally rehearsals are scheduled from 6-10 pm weeknights, and 9-3 on Saturdays.
Do I get paid? Yes, we do offer stipends to all adult actors employed during a production. Children, under legal working age, do not receive compensation.
Do you hire Equity? No, not generally. We are not an Equity Theatre, although, occasionally there is an equity contract offered under special circumstances. However, Equity actors are always encouraged to audition, as you never know what will be offered.
