Visit with an academic advisor. | 2) Review the major requirements. Each program is designed differently based on the expertise of faculty. Compare the requirements between schools, look at the course descriptions --- which one interests you more? Visit with a major advisor at each school you are considering before you make a commitment to enroll. 3) Attend transfer events including workshops, information tables, college fairs and campus visits. Ask questions. |  | What are the admissions deadlines? Is it a limited enrollment (restricted) program? How many students are admitted? When is the best time to start? Does the program require a special application? When are the deadlines? What are the criteria? | Which courses must be completed prior to applying to the program? What are the scholarship opportunities and application deadlines? Who is the contact person at the four year institution? Who is the contact person at SLCC? How many total credits is the program?
