WSU Admission & Degree Requirements

This page is intended as a guide only. Refer to the WSU catalog for a complete listing of requirements.

Application for admission to Weber State University requires application along with the $30.00 fee. Official transcripts of all previous college work must be sent directly to WSU admissions prior to starting course work. In addition, a Program of Study Declaration Form must be submitted to the department.  A copy of the Program of Study can be obtained from the University Center’s office.

Although it is not recommended, General Education courses for an Associate of Science degree may be taken concurrently with the Weber State University classes. Students are strongly encouraged to complete their Associate of Science degree before starting with WSU. Please check with your SLCC advisor to determine what is appropriate for you.

A grade of "C" or better is required in all courses required for this major (a grade of "C-" is not acceptable).

Bachelor's degrees require a minimum of 120 semester hours. Some majors may require additional hours.

40 of the 120 hours must be upper division (courses numbered 3000 and above).

To graduate from WSU with a Bachelor's degree, a student must take 30 credits in residence from WSU. WSU courses completed at an off campus   site will count as residency hours.
