ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) offers an Environmental Resource Management Bachelor’s degree through the CSUB Extended University Division  and is available to students through the University Center. This Web based program is well suited to the diverse needs of students who have completed the Associate of Science (A.S. Degree) in Environmental Technology at SLCC. To ensure smooth transfer, there are some specific courses within the A.S. degree specifically required by CSUB.

Departmental Advising: Interested students who have earned an AS degree in Environmental Technology from SLCC may still need to meet necessary lower division prerequisites for this program. They are strongly urged to meet with Katrina Green, the Environmental Tech Advisor, at 957-4858, or katrina.green@slcc.edu. Please note: At the end of Spring Semester, 2010, SLCC will no longer be offering a degree in Environmental Technology.  Is has been discontinued due to budget cuts.  Graduates of the Environmental program can still apply for the Bachelors degree. In addition, students who do not have the AS degree should meet with the advisor to review program requirements.

Students who enroll are students of California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) and pay CSUB tuition and fees. Application for admission to California State University, Bakersfield, requires official transcripts of all previous college work. The application must be submitted along with the $75.00 fee. The University Center may be contacted for an application.

Students enrolled in the CSUB Environmental Resource Management program have access to most, if not all the same, student resources and support as students enrolled in SLCC. For further information please refer to the link describing those resources. Helpful Information
