The University of Utah in cooperation with Salt Lake Community College's University Center offers a Nursing Bachelor's degree through online coursework. This program offers a unique opportunity for associate degree nurses to advance their knowledge and skills and become prepared at the baccalaureate level. The RN-BS Program assists nurses in acquiring expertise, in a convenient, 16 month plan of study.

The current market demands a higher level of expertise for nurses as they move into alternative arenas of health care settings. The RN-BS Program assists nurses in acquiring that expertise, in a convenient plan of study. Nursing experience is highly valuable for this program.

All coursework is offered in an online format.  Students attend one day each week for one class offered in the Fall Semester, all other coursework is online. New cohorts are admitted each year to begin in the Fall Session (August). Students will be enrolled part-time, for four semesters, completing the program in December of the following year.
