Veterans Educational Technology Scholarship
Salt Lake Community College Veterans Services has created a full-tuition scholarship for a certificate at the SLTC (Salt Lake Technical College) of 600 hours or less. To qualify, you must be a veteran student with expired/exhausted GI Bill benefits. Veteran students who are awarded this scholarship will be required to meet with a peer counselor in the office of Veterans Services before they receive funding and meet between each 10-week course block to continue to receive funding.
SLTC programs that currently qualify for this scholarship:
- Administrative Office Specialist: 355 clock hours
- Accounting Clerk: 615 clock hours
- Brick Mason: 480 clock hours
- Certified Nursing Assistant: 150 clock hours
- Clinical Lab Assistant: 365 clock hours
- Computer Support Specialist (A+): 600 clock hours
- Desktop Support Technician: 196 clock hours
- Electromechanical Assembly Technician: 463 clock hours
- Electronics Assembly Technician: 237 clock hours
- Manual Machinist: 450 clock hours
- Medical Scribe: 510 clock hours
- Network Support Technician: 195 clock hours
