Creative Careers Start Here.

Do you have a story to tell?

Whatever your medium—the pen, the brush, the screen or the stage—SLCC can help you tell your story and start your career as a creative.

Creatives collaborate.

That's why we built our Center for Arts and Media; it houses 17 arts and communication programs amidst industry-standard equipment and encourages interdisciplinary collaboration.

Creatives communicate.

That's why we brought 3 self-expressive disciplines into 1 cohesive Area of Study. For our students, the medium is as important as the message. How will you tell your story?

Are you curious about a creative career, but not sure where to start?

Do you want to meet students with passion projects like your own? Find your voice and your community in ACDM.

Degrees Offered

The digital arts have a strong presence at SLCC: graphic design & communications, animation, photography and illustration degrees complement certificates in game development and mobile publishing. Tactile design students may feel drawn to fashion or interior design degrees, while performance-oriented students find their muse in video/radio production, music or theatre arts. Students committed to veracity and connection can see the world up close through communication studies and journalism & digital media.
