Step 4: Train with Your Liaison
Once a you have been approved to teach a concurrent enrollment course, the SLCC concurrent enrollment department will assign an SLCC faculty liaison to train you on the college curriculum and standards for the class you have been approved to teach. The liaison will also review the your syllabus annually, provide or approve annual professional development, visit your classroom to observe teaching practices and perform peer evaluations.
We encourage you to reach out to your liaison once you have received your approval letter to schedule a time to sit down and go over the standards for the course you will be teaching.
For more information about working with a liaison, visit the “Liaison Visits” page. If you have not heard from your liaison before the start of the new academic year, contact the SLCC Concurrent Enrollment Office.
