JED at Salt Lake Community College

SLCC has partnered with the JED Foundation to support the emotional well-being of all students and foster a thriving campus community. SLCC is committed to supporting students' mental health. SLCC is engaged in a multi-year collaboration with the JED Foundation to assess and enhance the work that is already being done, and to help create positive, lasting, systemic change in the campus community. As part of the process, an interdisciplinary campus-wide team is being developed to assess, support, and implement improvements.

JED campus Member. JED Campus is a nationwide initiative of The JED Foundation designed ot help colleges and universities enhance emotional well-being and mental health promotion efforts, reduce substance abuse, and prevent suicide among students.

Bruin Emergency Fund Application

If you anticipate needing financial assistance to support your academic success, please fill out the Bruin Emergency Fund Application. These grants are for students with financial hardships caused by job loss, accidents, homelessness, and other unexpected living expenses.
