Group Fitness Instructor

This program will teach skills and increase the knowledge base needed for students interested in working as a group fitness instructor. This course will aid successful students in preparing for a nationally recognized certification as fitness professional by covering the educational components of teaching a safe and effective group fitness class. This program will also help prepare successful students to begin working in the group fitness field through instruction on practical skills including, but not limited to, classroom management, cueing, safety, modifications, music speed, choreography, as well as being exposed to a wide variety of group fitness classes and fitness modalities.
