SLCC Days 2024
Welcome to Salt Lake Community College! SLCC Days is a unique, two-day orientation program for high school seniors and early graduates in the Granite and Salt Lake City school districts. SLCC Days supports students in preparing for their first day of college, all before they graduate high school. Students learn about SLCC's programs and degree options, important campus resources, and get assistance in registering for classes early.
Day One (March 2024)
During Day One, SLCC staff visit high schools to guide students through the orientation process and accessing SLCC programs. Students are also introduced to the Summer Bridge Program, a student success program that provides support to students transitioning from high school to college.
Day Two (April 2024)
During Day Two, students get to visit an SLCC campus, where they meet with academic advisors, career coaches, and other SLCC resources. Additionally, students will get early access to register for fall semester classes. Lunch is provided, and students are welcomed to SLCC with prizes and swag items.
