This process will help you to decide which course you should take in Math.
This process is known as “Self-Placement.” Self-Placement replaces standardized tests that determine your Math course.
As you explore this site, you will have the opportunity to learn about SLCC Math pathways by watching videos about each of the Math classes and reading information about the expectations of the class. These will help you discover which class is right for you.
You have the power to decide which Math class you’d like to take at SLCC.
We believe that by providing you information about the different courses you will be equipped to make your best decision for college success. After you have looked over this information, if you still have questions about which class is right for you, SLCC recommends that you speak with an advisor.
