COVID-19 Update

All SLCC Summer 2020 courses will be offered only through online delivery. All SLCC students should check their Bruinmail and Canvas for specific class instructions and exceptions, such as labs and clinicals. Learn more at SLCCSafe.

Summer 2020 Online Course Options

  • Fully Online - NO set meeting time
    • Online courses will have all course content built into the Canvas course. These classes will not have a scheduled meeting time.
  • Online with scheduled class meetings
    • Broadcast/internet courses rely primarily on a scheduled meeting time to deliver instruction via remote lecture. Some content may also be built into the Canvas course.
  • CTE courses: Online then in-person in July
    • Specific to certain programs (some courses in Health Science, also Automotive, Aviation Maintenance, and Welding).

Summer Financial Aid

Federal Pell Grants are now available year-round. You may be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant, even if you received one during Fall and Spring Semesters.

To apply, enroll in Summer classes and fill out a Summer Aid Application. After you enroll, Summer Aid Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.

Early application is encouraged due to fund limitations.
