Recycling

Salt Lake Community College engages in many recycling efforts throughout the year. Everyone can help reduce waste here at SLCC by recycling and recycling properly. During 2019, students, faculty and staff made a strong commitment to recycling. As a result, we saved 956,364 lbs. of materials from going to the landfill.

You will notice blue recycling bins in every building where you can deposit plastic, aluminum and paper products. You can also recycle your used batteries at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus! Sorting and keeping waste out of the recycling bins will help maintain our successful recycling program on campus.
