English or ESL?

If you are not ready to enroll in English 1010, you can prepare yourself by taking courses in one of two pathways: English or ESL. ESL courses offer instruction in speaking and listening in English as well as reading and writing. If you decide to follow the ESL pathway, you will need to go through the placement process again before registering for English 1010.
