Welcome to the English-as-a-Second Language pathway at Salt Lake Community College!

The classes in the ESL pathway are:

• ESL Beginning
• ESL Intermediate I
• ESL Intermediate II
• ESL Advanced I
• ESL Advanced II
  • ESL 1010: Speaking & Listening
  • ESL 1020: Reading & Writing

In order to enroll in an ESL course, students must take a placement test. Please notify the technician in the Testing Center that you need to take the ESL placement test. If a technician is not available, call 801-957-4500.
