Statement: For my picture for the Beloved Community Assignment, the picture I chose was a picture of East High School. My artist statement on this is that I chose it because of the sign of it being 100 years of tradition, which means it was 100 years of people being together as one community. I went to East High to pick up my brother and thought "hey, that's a nice picture." so I took the picture. I also chose it because it was a high school, which means that there are a lot of people learning to get along as a community, and I think that's pretty cool when looking back at it.
