Leave a Legacy at SLCC

The main quad at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus is under construction! Soon, the new jet-propulsion fountain, dedicated benches, bricks and granite pavers, and lush, sustainable trees will be the newest addition to the SLCC landscape. And YOU can be a part of it! To memorialize your SLCC experience, purchase a brick or a paver with your name, graduating year, and a clever message on it. If you are a small business and want to thank SLCC for providing dependable and well-trained employees, purchase a tree or a bench with your company's name engraved on the lasting plaque.

Profits of the Legacy Giving Project go to fund the SLCC Alumni Scholarship. This year, the SLCC Alumni Association was able to give only one $1,200 scholarship. Our goal is to give away five for the 2010-2011 school year. Help us reach that goal!

Prices are as follows:

$60 - Concrete Paver

$260 - Granite Fountain Paver

$660 - Tree

$2,060 - Bench

All donations are tax-deductible. For more information on philanthropic contributions to SLCC, please visit www.slcc.edu/development.

Give a License to an Education

If you drive a car and want to make it look even better, register your car with an SLCC license plate. Not only is the SLCC license plate cool, it identifies the driver as someone who believes in the power of education. The additional registration cost goes directly to fund the SLCC Alumni Scholarship. The Alumni Scholarship is intended for direct relatives of SLCC alumni. If your child, brother or sister, or parent is thinking about going to school, give them a chance for a scholarship by putting an SLCC license plate on your car.
