Sue Dulaney begins her first season at the helm of one of the top volleyball programs in the NJCAA. The Bruins are coming off the best season ever at Salt Lake with a 44-2 record and the number one ranking in the NJCAA.
Susan has been a coach at many competitive levels from club to high school. She has coached teams in various states including Wyoming and Colorado. In 2000 she revitalized the Western Wyoming program that had been dropped in the early 80’s. As the head coach for the past eight years Sue has guided Western Wyoming to conference titles in 2004 and 2006. In 2006 her team went undefeated in conference play. In 2006 and 2004 she was named the Coach of the Year for District I and in 2006 named the Region IX Coach of the Year. She has been awarded the North Shelia R. Worley Sportsmanship Award in both 2007 and 2005
Sue is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association and is on the AVCA Region Coach of the Year committee. She is also a certified national strength and conditioning personal trainer since 1997.
Sue played colligate volleyball at University of Wisconsin Madison where she earned her bachelors degree in Physical Education and her Masters of Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy.
Sue is married to Stewart of 17 years and they have two children Dane (16) and Shea (15). They currently reside in Cottonwood Heights.

Assistant Coach Joe Hillman 801-957-4312 joseph.hillman@slcc.edu
Joe Hillman returns for his second season as a Bruin assistant coach and begins his responsibilities as Promotions Coordinator for SLCC Athletics. Hillman was an integral part of Salt Lake’s run to the national tournament last season, providing players with insight from a former national champion. Hillman’s extensive background in volleyball includes time spent at both Utah Valley State College and Brigham Young University. As a two-time NCAA All-American at UVSC, Hillman led the Wolverines to three top-three finishes from 1999-2002 and a NIRSA National Championship in 2001, in which he garnered MVP of the tournament. Upon retiring his Wolverine uniform, Hillman moved on to BYU for two years and was a key player on the National Championship team in 2004 and the National Runner-up team in 2003. As a Cougar, he was awarded 2nd team All-American status and MPSF All-Tournament recognition. Hillman is a native of Las Vegas, Nev. |

Assistant Coach Mike Daniel
Mike Daniel enters his second season as an assistant on the Salt Lake staff. Previous to coaching the Bruins, Daniel had a successful 11 year career as head volleyball coach at Pleasant Grove High School in Pleasant Grove, Utah. At PGHS, Daniel compiled a 154-29 win/loss record, two state championships, and eight top-five finishes. Daniel’s volleyball coaching credentials also include serving as an adjunct assistant coach for the 2000 USA Women’s National team, which finished 4th in the world. He was also coach of the “Utah Predators,” a professional women’s team in Utah. During the spring, Daniel coaches the Utah Valley Volleyball Club team and he teaches volleyball at local high school camps in the summer. Daniel played as an outside hitter for BYU in 1991 and for Colorado State in 1994. He was the number one player in Utah in 1994, 1995, 1996, and 2002. Daniel also had a brief playing stint on the AVP tour with Jake Gibb from 2001-2003. Daniel currently resides in Pleasant Grove. He and his wife Erin are the parents of five children.
