Head Coach Sue Dulaney begins her second year at Salt Lake. In her first season she led the Bruins to a record of 35-10 overall and 9-1 in the Scenic West Conference (SWAC). The team took the SWAC for the second year in a row and won the District A playoff to advance to the NJCAA National Tournament for the fifth year in a row. After dropping their first game at Nationals the team won four games consecutively to win the consolation bracket and take 9th place. Sue was name the SWAC and District Coach of the Year in her inaugural season. She had five players named All-Region and Camilla Phillips was NJCAA All American Honorable Mention. She brings in six freshmen and two transfers for the 2009 season.
Susan has been a coach at many competitive levels from club to high school. She has coached teams in various states including Wyoming and Colorado. In 2000 she revitalized the Western Wyoming program that had been dropped in the early 80’s. As the head coach for the past eight years Sue has guided Western Wyoming to conference titles in 2004 and 2006. In 2006 her team went undefeated in conference play. In 2006 and 2004 she was named the Coach of the Year for District I and in 2006 named the Region IX Coach of the Year. She has been awarded the North Shelia R. Worley Sportsmanship Award in both 2007 and 2005
Sue is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association and is on the AVCA Region Coach of the Year committee. She is also a certified national strength and conditioning personal trainer since 1997.
Sue played colligate volleyball at University of Wisconsin Madison where she earned her bachelors degree in Physical Education and her Masters of Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy.
Sue is married to Stewart of 18 years and they have two children Dane (17 and Shea (16). They currently reside in Cottonwood Heights.
