It is the responsibility of the liaison to observe the secondary teacher, evaluate the high school teacher's performance, methods and curriculum to ensure quality and comparability with courses taught at SLCC. The liaison coaches the teacher, makes suggestions, and advises the teacher of college curriculum standards as necessary. The liaison may make classroom presentations, team-teach and/or guest lecture as appropriate during site visits. Concurrent Enrollment site visits and the SLCC peer review teacher evaluation process for Concurrent Enrollment teachers are vital to the quality of Concurrent Enrollment courses.
