Things you should know about High Schools

High School and College Combined

While high school teachers teaching Concurrent Enrollment courses are under the same set of standards as college faculty, high school instructors must, often times, teach additional curriculum to meet the high school core curriculum required by the high school. Liaisons should be willing to help teachers accommodate both curriculums while at the same time assuring the college curriculum is being covered in full.

High School Schedules

High school schedules are very different from college schedules. Classes will often be cut short for assemblies and other activities. So when a teachers says their Concurrent class is held on A days, it is important to contact the teacher before hand to make sure it is not an assembly day or an early out day.
