Emergency Medical Technician
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course runs for 12 weeks and is taught on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and some designated Saturdays. This course is available for financial aid and is offered as a credited health class or non credited continuing education program. All applicants must register as a Salt lake Community College student the cost is $35.00. Applications can be submitted online at www.slcc.edu, or at any of the admission offices. This must be completed before coming to the Larry H. Miller Campus to register for the EMT course.
The cost is $1145.75, plus books (approximately $100.00), and State Certification fee ($115.00). If a student is not already CPR State Certified, there is a certification class available in conjunction with the EMT class for $35.00. Arrangements will be made for this CPR class right before or just after the EMT class begins.

Our next EMT class will begin April 28, 2008 through July 02, 2008 and the next CPR class will be available on April 10, 2008. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
