Dental Hygiene

Dental Hygiene Clinic

The Salt Lake Community College Dental Hygiene offers the following treatments: Oral Examination X-Rays Oral Prophylaxis (cleaning) Periodontal Therapy Risk Assessment Wellness Counseling Sealants Fluoride

Clinic Fees Screening Visit: No Fee (minimal x-rays and dental hygiene evaluation) approximately 1 hour Initial Hygiene Visit: $20 (exam, x-rays, assessments, home care education and initial treatment)* approximately 2-3 hours Additional Visit, Same Treatment Series: $10 (per visit)* approximately 2-3 hours Rx Medicaments: $5.00 Home Care Fluoride $5.00 Chlorhexidine Rinse Peridex Patient Requested Record Duplication: Radiographs (X-Rays): $5.00 Bitewing Films $10.00 Full Mouth Series $2.00 Digital Paper Records: No Fee

NOTE The SLCC Dental Hygiene Clinic does NOT provide emergency/general dentistry procedures such as  root canals, fillings, tooth extraction, etc. *All services are performed by Salt Lake Community College Dental Hygiene students under the supervision of licensed dental professionals. For advanced cases return visits may be required.
