Foundation Scholarships

The Salt Lake Community College Foundation provides funding for the following annual scholarships, based on the criteria listed beneath each:

Foundation Scholars
• 3.8 GPA or higher

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Community service

• New and returning students

Foundation Honors
• 3.5 GPA or higher

• Utah resident

• Continuing, transfer or freshman students

Foundation Freshman
• 3.0 GPA or higher

• Utah resident

• Incoming freshman only

Foundation Part-time
• Part-time students with 6 credit hours or more

Foundation Freshman Alternative
• Alternative high school students

• Minimum 12 credits

• GPA 2.0 or higher
