What We Do...
Instructional Design Support Our instructional design group aids in the design and development of any coursework that incorporates technology. Their knowledge of a wide range of design strategies and delivery methods help to facilitate the instruction of educational concepts, from the most simple to the most complex. |
Training Support The training group offers numerous training opportunities to learn the skills and tools necessary to teaching a distance course. The training is offered in a personable, hands-on training environment, via online modules, and webinars. |
LMS (WebCT) Administration The LMS administration group works closely with IT, Help Desk, academic departments, instructional designers and individual instructors in troubleshooting enrollment and course management issues. This group is also responsible for daily, weekly and term archives. |
Service Center The service center is primarily focused on serving students who have or are thinking about registering for a distance learning course. In addition, they support faculty in coordinating and offering orientation sessions, facilitating out-of-state special assessment and textbook needs, as well as many other services. |
Video/Web Conferencing The Video/Web Conferencing group is responsible for coordinating all video/web conferencing events for the College. These include interactive class sessions, as well as HR interviews, guest speakers, web downlinks, etc. |
