Design and Drafting is a vital component of everything that is built. For objects to be created with precision, they must first be produced as computer-generated drawings. Drafters, Designers and Engineering Technicians are an integral part of any creative engineering team.

The Engineering Design/Drafting Technology program offers courses in all of the major engineering drafting discipline areas: mechanical, civil, structural, piping, electronics, and descriptive geometry, as well as in-depth CAD (Computer Aided Design) software training and classes in related disciplines that provide additional knowledge to enhance design capability.

Students can begin the program any semester or summer term. Classes are offered both day and evening.  Most students find work in industry before they complete their degree. The AS degrees will also transfer into bachelor programs at Weber State, Utah Valley, and Southern Utah Universities.
