Exhibit Proposals

Now Accepting Exhibition Proposals

The SLCC Art Committee is pleased to announce the annual open call for exhibition proposals for local artists, art groups and organizations for exhibitions in the George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Gallery and Curved LED Wall. Both exhibition spaces are located in the East Foyer in the Center for Art & Media at South City Campus. We are proudly focused on expanding the diversity and inclusivity of our gallery spaces and encourage artists from all backgrounds, orientations, and abilities to submit proposals.

Exhibitions selected through this call will be programmed from
September 2022 through May 2023.

While we hope to move forward with our regular academic calendar and exhibition scheduling, as a committee we also want to acknowledge that we are currently facing a global pandemic. We reserve the right to move exhibitions and dates around as necessary and in conjunction with selected artists.

Call for exhibit proposals are due
May 7, 2022, 11:59 p.m. MST

Applicants should expect to be notified by June 11, 2022.

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

Interested exhibitors must submit an Exhibition Proposal Application to exhibit in the George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Art Gallery and/or Curved LED Wall. Applicants should review all documents provided below before submitting a proposal and contain the following information:

Image references (5-image maximum)

Proposals are selected by SLCC’s Art Gallery Specialist. Applicants will be notified of acceptance status via email. Exhibit Timeline

You may request specific dates for your exhibit, however your preferred dates may not be available. A proposed exhibition schedule will be given to an exhibitor upon being accepted. The exhibitor will have an opportunity to accept or decline the offer. The Gallery and/or Foyer Wall reservation timeline should accommodate the appropriate number of days for the gallery wall installation, hanging, opening reception, length of the exhibit and take down. Successful applicants will work with the Gallery Coordinator to determine the timeline. Please note that the reservation will not be finalized until the Terms of Agreement is signed.
