What is SLCC doing about Sustainability?


        Something is being done - in fact, did you know that:
            At SLCC - All of the paper and cardboard is collected together,
And that recycling totals for SLCC are:

Paper
 10 Tons/Month
Batteries (wet cell) 50/year
Batteries (rechargeable) 300/year
Used oil                             2,000 gallons/year
Used antifreeze  100 gallons/year
Plastic   300 pounds/month
Paint 400 gallons/year
Electronic waste Approximately 200 computer monitors and parts/year.  (Those that can�t be sold whole)
Fluorescent light tubes 2,600/year

This stuff is recycled; none of this gets to a landfill.
