| Judy Chapman (judychapman2000@yahoo.com) Judy has a composite B.A. including Clothing and Textiles, Interior Design and some Marketing with a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate from the University of Utah. She has taught in the public school system in the Salt Lake School District and Granite School District. She is currently the owner and designer for Les Fleurs Floral Design, creating floral arrangements for weddings and special events. Judy enjoys teaching at SLCC. |

| Janet Gleave (jgleave@comcast.net) Janet has a B.A. in Clothing and Textiles Fashion Design from Brigham Young University. She has been a fashion designer for more than 25 years. Janet has costumed for performance and dance companies such as Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Repertory Dance Company and A Company of Four. She currently designs for private clients and enjoys studying the history of textiles and fashion. |

| Signe Jacobsen (signejacobsen@iglide.net) Signe, originally from South Africa, studied Pattern Making and Design at the University of Natal, South Africa and the McCabe School of Dressmaking in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has worked with numerous designers for more than 38 years. Embracing the unique approach of drafting patterns using body measurements rather than draping, Signe has developed an original and effective method of pattern making, which is now a signature class of the SLCC Fashion Institute. It is very difficult to fit oneself and Signe's system eliminates the difficulty. Signe finds great satisfaction in watching students make that special outfit for themselves in half the time and with less expense and with the kind of results they only dream of. |

| Janet G. Kjar (jeksew4@hotmail.com) Janet has an extensive background in the fashion industry. She obtained her education from Snow College, BYU, USU and Margaret's School of Design. She has taught at BYU's Sewing and Needle Arts Conference; in the Davis Community Education program specifically designing serger classes; and USU Extension Classes. Her credentials include being a seamstress/designer for Utah Ballet and Modern Dance; Clytie Adams Dance School; Bridal Alterations & Design; and A Bride Beautiful Production Manager as well as a sample sewer for various companies in Utah. In addition, Janet continues to practice custom sewing and altering of bridal gowns. Janet enjoys helping students realize their potential. She enjoys sharing her knowledge, skills and experience to inspire the students to work hard and achieve in the industry. |

| Louise Pascoe (breezydaisies@aol.com) Louise is a professional patternmaker with 20 years of experience. Since graduating from USU with a major in Clothing and Textile Design, she has made men's, women's, and children's production patterns for many of the larger local clothing companies. She also makes custom patterns for ski wear, evening gowns, costumes and sportswear. During her career she has been an assistant designer, pattern department supervisor, and computer pattern making and grading supervisor. She feels that a large portion of being in fashion is creating exceptionally well fitting clothes and encourages her students to concentrate on superior fit -- along with creativity. |

| Sandra E. Paul (paul.sandra@comcast.net) From the glamour of runway modeling to immersion in the fashion trenches as a stylist and fashion director, Sandra has 40 years experience in the fashion industry. She is a textile artist and has practiced hand weaving for over 30 years in Utah, Missouri and Japan. As an artist, she interfaces her love of textiles and fashion in her business, "S-ENCE," specializing in hand-woven textiles and hand-painted silk. |

Jill G. Serfustini (jill142000@aol.com) Jill graduated from the U of U in Home Economics Education. She has an extensive background as a seamstress which includes sewing for companies such as Utah Woolen Mills, Salt Lake Drapery Shop and many private clients. She has taught in the Salt Lake School District. She enjoys being part of SLCC and enjoys the interaction with the students. She likes watching students become excited about learning and putting that knowledge into practice and watching the success of their efforts. |

| Maria Skelton (dmrose@mwutah.com) Maria received her degree in Fashion Design from Brigham Young University. She started her own company in 1987 and enjoyed immediate success in the sale of her designs, ultimately turning her ideas into profitable ventures. She has designed and manufactured clothing for the Sundance Catalogue and created a polar fleece line which was sold throughout the United States, and was featured in Outdoor Retailer and Sports Style magazines. |

| Sarah Wager (swager1@mymail.slcc.edu) Sarah's extensive sewing experience has taken her all over the world. Specializing in fine dressmaking techniques, Sarah has designed and constructed more than 250 couture wedding gowns. She has also worked in costume design and construction for English-speaking theatres in Geneva, Switzerland and more recently for Utah Opera in Salt Lake City. Sarah's fashion retail sales experience includes working for such companies as Saks Fifth Avenue, Talbot's and Britex Fabrics in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City. Sarah enjoys sharing her expertise with the students and watching them improve their lives with their acquired knowledge and skills. |
