Welcome to
Focused Tutoring!



Focused Tutoring provides

  • free, one-to-one and small group tutoring to enrolled SLCC students
  • On-going, weekly appointments with the same tutor throughout the semester
  • Referrals to other tutoring and learning services as well as study skills programs on campus

Students in the program make a commitment to meet at least once a week throughout the semester with their assigned tutor.

Tutoring is usually available in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and CIS, depending on available tutors and their expertise.

Tutoring in other subjects may be available depending on tutor staff.
