Family Medical LeavePart-time employees are also eligible to apply for Family Medical Leave. Other criteria as outlined in College Policy would also need to be met before leave can be granted. This is an unpaid leave for up 12 weeks. For more information contact the Benefits Department in the Human Resources Office.
Grand TheatreEmployees (including part-time staff), with a One Card, can purchase tickets for half off the regular price. The first Monday before the first performance, employees can attend the dress rehearsal free (7:30pm). Tickets can be purchased for half price on all Tuesday perfromances but the request must include that the employee would like the half price ticket.

Parking PassPart-time staff are eligible for a free faculty/staff parking permit. To receive your pass, you must have a
Department Authorization for Parking Permit signed by your Department Director, Division/Department Chair. Permits may be picked up by bringing your signed authorization form to Parking Services located a the Gunderson Facilities Services Building (GFSB), Room 101, Taylorsville Redwood Campus or to the Casheirs Office on South City or Jordan Campus. You must bring in your automotive registration for all vehicles that you want to register.
Payroll DeductionsPart-time employees are currently eligible for payroll deductions to a Supplemental Retirement Account (SRA), Charitabe Contributions, and for American Family Life Cancer Insurance (AFLAC). Contact Rachelle Jones in Payroll at Ext. 4221, for more information.
Personal LeavePart-time hourly employess would be eligible for up to 6 days of Personal Leave each fiscal year.
Eligibility: Employee must have 3 years of service. Employee must work a minimum of 20 hours each pay period to earn the accrual for that pay period.
Accrual: The pay period following the employee's 3rd-year anniversary, the employee will begin to accrue 2.00 hours of Personal Leave, provided the employee worked a minimum of 20 hours during that pay period. All leave must be used by June 30 of each year or the employee will lose it. There will be no balances carried forward.
Sporting EventsThere are 25 tickets at the ticket booth for faculty and staff, including adjunct. After those tickets have been distributed, employees pay the full price of admission.
Tuition Waiver - StaffPart-time hourly employees will be allowed Tuition Waiver for themselves, for one class per term not to exceed 5 credit hours on a space available basis. Fees would need to be paid by the employee. Classes taken should not be during the employees scheduled hours of work. Workstudy students would be excluded from this benefit.
Eligibility: Employee must have 3 years of consecutive service with an average of 20 hours a week. This benefit would be available for the next term following the 3rd-year anniversary of the employee. Employee must have a current active assignment.
Authorization: Human Resource will verify eligibility and sign all Hourly Tuition Waivers. Employee would need to wait until first day of class to receive Instructor Permission to attend that class. The Instructor would sign the Tuition Waiver Form. At that time the employee can register for the class.
