SLCC Resources Community Resources Salt Lake Community College Support Systems Health and Wellness Services Provides Health and Wellness services which enhance the physical, social, spiritual, intellectual and emotional well-being of the students, faculty and staff of SLCC. Health and Wellness Services provides education on a host of health issues and can refer students and staff to a variety of Health Resources. See phone numbers at bottom of page. Health and Wellness On-campus Medical Clinics Offer a full-range of services including exams, prescriptions, pregnancy prevention items, flu shots, STI and pregnancy testing, and lab work for minimal fees. Each clinic employs a family nurse practitioner (FNP) and a medical assistant. See phone numbers at bottom of page. Health and Wellness Counseling Services Provides services to help students with various issues including drug or alcohol abuse, domestic violence, depression, eating disorders, rape, suicidal thinking, stress management, and relationship problems. Free counseling sessions with a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) are available to all SLCC students through Health and Wellness Counseling Services. See phone numbers at bottom of page. Provides numerous services and programs for students with disabilities who need assistance with educational, physical and/or program accommodations while pursuing an education at Salt Lake Community College. Services are available at all SLCC sites. The DRC also is available for consultation, training and assistance to faculty and staff. To become eligible for services, students must attend an orientation, complete an application for DRC and provide documentation regarding their disability. Provides a full range of public safety services to the campus such as filing of crime reports, investigations, traffic accidents, and all other incidents requiring police assistance. Services are limited to students who have low income, are first generation students in college, or students who have a physical or diagnosed learning disability.
