April is Mathematics Awareness Month

The SLCC Math Department is having contests in celebration of Mathematics Awareness Month.  The contests are open to all current SLCC students taking math courses with the following caveats:

1.)  The contest labeled General Contest is open to all current SLCC students taking math courses.

2.)  The contest labeled Intermediate Algebra is open to all current SLCC students taking math 1050 or below.

3.)  The contest labeled Math for Health Sciences is open to all SLCC students that have taken or are currently taking math 1020.

Rules:

1.) Entries must be submitted to the Math department office by 3:00 PM on 4/18/2008.

2.) Include your name, student ID, math course and instructor's name, and your email address.

3.) The first 4 randomly selected, complete and  correct entrees for each contest will win a $25 gift card to the SLCC bookstore.
