FIRST THINGS FIRST!

Prior to starting the NetConnect Orientation, it is important that you have the following resources available:
 

  • The College Catalog is one of the most important resources you will use as a student.  This is a book you need to hold on to throughout your time here.  You should take the catalog along when you have advising appointments, as well. We'll cover more about how to use it in Section 2: Class Selection Tips.
     
  • The Class Schedule is also an important resource that is produced each semester. This newsprint booklet will list Salt Lake Community College classes at all locations.

Here's how to get the catalog and class schedule:  

It is very easy to get the catalog and class schedule. You have 3 options:

On Campus : The Catalog ($2.00) and Class Schedule ($.50) can be purchased at the following locations-

  • Redwood Road Campus - Courtesy Desk, Student Center
  • Jordan Campus - Courtesy Desk
  • South City Campus - Bookstore (Room E123)
  • Sandy Center - Main Desk

On-Line:

  • The Catalog can be accessed at the College Catalog
  • The Class Schedule can be accessed at the Class Schedule and then click Online Registration-StudentNet

By Mail:

Send a check or money order for $4.00 for each catalog and $3.00 for each schedule to:

Please allow 1-2 weeks for domestic delivery.
