1.2 Utilizes the merge process to combine items from two different documents Student must complete computer based training modules on merging documents, finish an assigned project, and demonstrate proficiency in a lab setting.
1.2 Format envelopes and labels using word processing. Student is required to complete computer based training modules on envelope and label formatting, submit a printed project that demonstrates the ability to accurately format and print envelopes and labels on various printers. Student must also pass an online test with a score of 80% or greater.
1.2 Uses the sort feature to sort lines of text, paragraphs, and records Student must complete computer based training modules on the sort feature, pass an online test with a score of 80% or greater, and correctly apply formatting to an assigned project.

Student must complete computer based training on worksheets, demonstrate ability to build and edit worksheets in a one on one lab setting.

1,2 Utilizes database functions to manage data, sort, search, and extract specific information. Student must complete computer based training on database functions, work one on one with a coach in a lab setting, complete an assigned project that requires the use of many expert database functions, and pass an online test with a score of 80% or greater.
1,2 Integrates information between Windows programs by copying, pasting, embedding and linking. Student must complete computer based training on copy/pasting and embedding, work one on one with a coach in a lab setting, answer module based review questions, and pass an online test with a  score of 80% or greater
1,2 Prioritizes work and manages time. Student must attend class regularly, show a strong desire to learn, and submit completed projects in a timely manner.

1 Creating a Presentation:  Create presentations (manually and using automated tools), add slides to and delete slides from presentations, modify headers and footers. Student must complete computer based training on presentations, create a presentation, and demonstrate a working knowledge of how various aspects of presentations work in a lab setting with a coach.
1 Inserting and Modifying Text: import text from Word; insert, format, and modify text. Student must complete computer based training modules on text manipulation, and pass an online test with a score of 80% or greater.
1 Inserting and Modifying Visual Elements: add tables, charts, and clip art, customize slide backgrounds. Student must complete computer based training on modifying presentation formats and pass an online test with a score of 80% or greater.
1 Modifying Presentation Formats: apply formats to presentation; apply animation schemes; apply slide transitions; customize slide formats; customize slide templates; rearrange slides; modify slide layout.
