ASLO Course Objectives/Student Outcomes Assessments
1,2 Student shall demonstrate a keyboarding speed of 20 words per minutes minimum, using touch-typing skill Student must take a type test and print report
1,2 Computer Hardware: Identify differrent types of computers, how computers work (process information) and how individual computers fit into larger systems. Student must view the computer based training module, complete required quiz, and pass a timed test with a score of 80% or greater. Complete required lab.

Computer Ethics

ASLO Course Objectives/Student Outcomes Assessments
1.2 Computer Ethics: Identify software license types and the legal/ethical implications of misusing a computer software license. Student must view the computer based training module on ethical computer usage, complete assigned project, and demonstrate an understanding in a one on one lab setting with a coach.
1,2,3,4 Computer Ethics: Understand the ethics involved in downloading software, music, and video.  Student must view the computer based training module involving ethics and downloading, complete an online test with a score of 80% or greater and correctly identify hypothetical situations posed by a coach involving ethical and unethical download practices. 
1,2,3 Computer Ethics: Understand the use of open source software.  Student must view the computer based training module on open source software, complete a lab on open source software involving the usage of the internet and GPL/GNU websites, and pass a test with a score of 80% or higher
