Program Advisory Committee Salt Lake Community College keeps the Health-Care programs in harmony with business and industry through the use of Program Advisory Committees (PACs). The PACs are comprised on individuals from the health-care industries closely related to the program. The input from these PAC members is critical in keeping the programs on target with the current needs of business and industry. An additional tool used both in the development of programs and in the periodic review of applied technology education is the DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) process. The DACUM is a task analysis process, which allows for an occupation to be analyzed, broken down into a series of tasks and from there into the competencies required to perform those tasks. The competency list provides a framework for developing course curriculum. An actual DACUM brings together workers in a particular occupation with a trained DACUM facilitator to conduct the task analysis over a half-day to four-day meeting Program Advisory Committee Members Certified Nursing Assistant (includes Nutrition Assistant) | Heather Hockenberry | Bennion Care Center | | Suzanne Bangerter | Bennion Care Center | | Jason Martinez | Wasatch Rehabilitation Center | | Gregg Hughes | University of Utah Hospital | | Ann Hogensen | Granite Technical Center | | Marissa Johnson | Intermountain Health Care | | Mark Sargent | Garden Terrace | | Kaye White | Salt Lake Community College | | Liliana Rodriguez | Salt Lake Community College | Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk This PAC is integrated with the Office Information System (OIS) PAC |
