Utah’s Short-Term Intensive Training Program utilizes state funds to provide occupationally specific intensive training for current employees (or for individuals who, after receiving the training, will be hired) by effectively and economically matching their training needs with those of industry. The types of training subsidized by STIT are as varied as the companies themselves.
The Utah State Legislature created the Short Term Intensive Training (STIT) program for the sole purpose of helping employers upgrade the skill level of their current and prospective employees.
